Biokleen’s Partnership with BEF Water Restoration Program
For every purchase of any Biokleen 64-ounce laundry liquid during August, Biokleen will purchase one Water Restoration Certificate, which is the equivalent of 1,000 gallons of water and offsets 37 loads of laundry.
100% of the water used in Biokleen's plant and offices are offset through the Bonneville Environmental Foundation's (BEF) Renewable Water Restoration Program. BEF Water Restoration Certificates (WRCs) are an effective way for businesses to take responsibility for their water consumption by returning an amount of water equal to what they’ve used back to the environment. One BEF Water Restoration Certificate represents 1,000 gallons of water restored to a critically dewatered river or stream. Use BEF WRCs to balance direct or indirect water consumption, including water used in office space, operations or embedded in the supply chain.
