Holiday Recipe Marathon: Monte Cristo Casserole

 

Here are a couple recipes for leftover bread.

MONTE CRISTO CASSEROLEmonte cristo sandwich copy
1 1/2 lb Swiss Cheese
1 1/2 lb Ham
1 Loaf Sliced Bread
6 Eggs
1 1/2 cup Milk

METHOD:
Build ham and cheese sandwiches and place them in a greased baking dish. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and add milk and 2 tsp of yellow prepared mustard. Mix well. Pour mixture over the sandwiches. Bake at 350º for 35 minutes. Top with cheese of your choice, bake an additional 10 minutes. (Serves 6-8)
