Holiday Recipe Marathon: Caramel French Toast

 
CARAMEL FRENCH TOAST
1/2 cup Butter    
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Maple Syrup    
1 Loaf Sliced Bread
6 Eggs    
1 1/2 cups Milk
1T Vanilla
1/4 cup Caramel

METHOD:
Bring butter, brown sugar and maple syrup to a boil. Combine beaten eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour hot mixture into a greased baking dish. Top this with the bread. Pour egg mixture over bread.  Drizzle caramel on top. Bake at 350º for 40 – 45 minutes. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Serves 8)
