United Plant Savers Planting the Future Conference
When: Saturday August 6th, 2011 from 9 am to 5:30 pm
Where: Kickapoo Valley Reserve, S3661 Highway 131, LaFarge, Wisconsin
What: United Plant Savers’ conferences focus on the cultivation, conservation and sustainable use of our native medicinal plants. There will be classes with herb growers on cultivation of herbs, many herb walks, classes on herbal medicines and fermented foods and more! The Kickapoo Valley Reserve’s purpose is nature conservation and education, which is very much in harmony with our own mission, and we’re excited to be presenting a PTF conference there.
Who: Teachers so far confirmed include Robin DiPasquale ND, Sam Thayer, Kathleen Wildwood, Jess Krueger, Jim McDonald, Carol Willis, Jane Hawley-Stevens, Gigi LaBudde, Linda Conroy and Carol Jacobs, with more to be added soon.
