local watermelonWatermelon (yellow & red) from Harmony Valley Farms – watermelon dies not need a grand introduction…….we just wanted to let you all know local melons are in stock and ready for your consumption.
local grapesGrapes from Compostella Farm – Sweet tiny little grapes, excellent for eating right away, adding to the top of a salad, or making a sweet wine with. Short season variety so enjoy them while they last.
local elderberriesElderberries from Compostella Farm – how about a great liquor recipe to get you to try Elderberries this year;  32oz canning jar filled ¾ with Elderberries, cover with liquor (60-80 proof), add honey and/or herbs to your taste preference, cover/seal….put in a sunny window for a few days and then move to a dark cool place for about a month. Open, strain out berries (use them to make a liquor sauce or syrup now) and cheers! You have just make Elderberry liquor.
local sweet cornSweet Corn from Rich Lange – by far the sweetest variety of sweet corn I have nibbled so far this year……certified organic and ready for eating anyway you like to enjoy sweet corn.
