Back to School Supplies at the Viroqua Food Coop

I cannot believe it’s the end of August. Today I saw at least one tree starting to turn those brilliant orange tones of autumn. With the changing of the season comes the new school year, backpacks, homework and packing lunches. I have stocked the mercantile department with some super fun reusable lunch box type items to send to school with your sweet children…

• Lunchopolis from New Wave Enviro - a lead free Insulated lunch bag that includes 4 re-usable BPA-free plastic containers and a BPA-free beverage bottle. Also from New Wave Enviro – stainless steel divided food container with colorful tops – stainless steel water bottles in a couple different sizes.

• Tiffin set from To-Go Ware – a stainless steel 2-tier portable food carrier that hails from India – includes a small sidekick perfect for salad dressing or a wee snack. Also large stainless steel sidekicks are a great snack pack size to accompany sandwiches and reusable bamboo utensil sets.

• Wrap-n-Mat – a re-usable sandwich wrap that opens flat and doubles as a placemat.

• Bring It –reusable sandwich and snack bags – made from recycled plastic bottles
