30 Years of Cooperation

In the fall of 1995, a small group of people who cared about organic agriculture and sought access to local food joined together to open a natural foods co-op at 303 N. Center St. in Viroqua.

Now, 30 years later, that small group has grown to nearly 5000 owners who own a thriving grocery store and deli that emphasizes certified organic and local food.

Through our business practices, the Viroqua Food Co+op builds the local economy, supports local farmers and producers and provides a center for community in the heart of Viroqua. This January kicks off a year-long celebration of our 30th year as a co-op!
